Just ordered my ticket for the National in october. I hat to go through ticketbastard, but Rotate is sold out already. Soundscapes might have some, or Rotate might get another batch in, but I didn't want to risk it.
I was complaining that there are no shows in september that I want to see, but that was before I knew about the mountain goats at lee's. I think I'll have to go to that one. |

i love soulseek. i love leaks of albums that aren't due out for months. and i fucking love the new pornographers. but starting to listen to this album at 1am is probably not the best idea because i have to get up in 6 hours and 34 minutes but it's so good i don't want to turn it off. |

I hate trying to pick courses. I can't decide what I want to take.
I'm definitely taking Studies in Literary Theory: Cultural Studies.
I'm very likely taking History and Description of the English Language.
I need to decide between either a full year course on Milton, or two half year courses on Poe and Woolf.
I want to take Poe more than Milton, but Milton more than Woolf. I loathe Virginia Woolf, but it's the only thing that fits my schedule.
If I go with Milton, I'll have three courses each term. If I go with Poe & Woolf, I'll have four courses in the fall and two in the winter. I don't like the idea of four at once, but having two will be nice.
And the other factor is that my best friend at school is taking Poe and I want at least one class with her. So I'll probably end up with Poe & Woolf and just end up hating Woolf, but at least it's only for three months. And only having two classes in the winter will be great. |

Finally finished my exams. Such an incredible weight off my shoulders. I get to celebrate by sitting at home alone, woo! But it'll be nice to have a couple weeks to relax before summer classes start.
Also, Joanna Newsom has a new ep out, which I'll never listen to, because fuck the harp, but "Joanna Newsom & the Ys Street Band" is the best title ever. |
